GA4, GTM and server-side tracking setup

I set up GA4, GTM and server-side tracking you can trust: Consent Mode v2, Conversions API and every lead from the first visit to the sale in your CRM.

Every ad decision is only as good as the data behind it. If conversions are counted twice or lost, the platforms optimize for the wrong thing, and so do you.

I build tracking from a plan: which events matter, how leads get to the CRM, how a sale gets back to the ad platforms. Then I set up Google Tag Manager, GA4, Consent Mode v2 and server-side events, and check that the numbers match.

What I do

  • A tracking plan: events, conversions and parameters
  • Google Tag Manager and GA4
  • Consent Mode v2 and a cookie banner
  • Meta Conversions API and other server events
  • UTM rules and lead attribution in the CRM
  • Dashboards with the numbers that matter

How we work

  1. CallWe talk about the goal, the product, the numbers and the budget.
  2. PlanI review what you have and send a plan: what to do, in what order and what to expect.
  3. LaunchI set up tracking, campaigns and everything else the plan needs.
  4. GrowthEvery week I read the numbers, cut what does not work and scale what does.

Questions

Why do my ad platforms and GA4 show different numbers?

Each platform counts by its own rules and attribution windows. I set one source of truth for leads and sales, usually the CRM, and reconcile the rest with it.

Do you set up the cookie banner?

Yes: Consent Mode v2 with Accept and Reject, so Google tags follow the visitor's choice.
